From Reading climate risk to removing it

EHAB was built on a single frustration: the construction industry was walking into a changing climate with its eyes half shut. Weather causes almost half of all project delays, yet most teams still planned around gut feel and generic forecasts that were never built for the complexity of a live project.

So EHAB built the first weather risk management platform for construction. It connected to planning and risk software to turn 45 years of climate data into actionable insight at every stage of a project — and industry leaders like BAM Nuttall, Morgan Sindall, Kier and Balfour Beatty used it to see weather risk coming across the UK, Ireland, Brazil, Canada and Australia.

Insurtech Gateway led their Pre-Seed round in May 2020 and went on to lead their £1m Seed round in March 2022.
